This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 8/22/2009
Much to the chargrin of the Gibbs-Conner Company that was located in the heart of Cleveland, this fantastic looking bank pays tribute to the 1954 World Champion N.Y. Giants. The Giants beat the Cleveland Indians in that year's Fall Classic- 4 games to 0. The bank has the "interlocking NY" of the Giants embossed on the ball and declares them champions on the base. It stands about 6.5" tall. The company name is ethched on the back of the base. Overall it is in near mint condition. There are only a handful of these banks that are known to exist.
