This impressive 1949 All-Star program also holds significant historic value. This game would be the first All-Star game that features Afro-American players. The National League would have notables such as Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Don Newcombe and the American League would have Larry Doby. The A.L. would win a slug-fest 11-7. the game was played at the Brooklyn Dodgers Ebbets Field. The program is bright & clean although there are a couple of light surface crease on the cover. There are loads of pictures and articles within and the score sheet was not scored. Overall it is in excellent condition.
