July 4th 1941, Lou Gehrig Ticket Stub, Stamp and Picture matted and framed. Great looking picture of Gehrig giving his luckiest man alive speech at Yankee Stadium. With it comes a 25 cent postage stamp with his picture on it as well as the ticket stub to the memorial game. This stub is a vintage piece of baseball history. The Lou Gehrig Memorial Ticket Stub is from July 4th 1941. On June 2, 1941 Lou Gehrig succumbed to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at age 37 One month later, on July 4th, a special memorial was held at Yankee Stadium where Lou Gehrig's immortal number "4" was retired forever. The stub is in good condition. It does have creasing and wear. This is still a great looking piece thats ready to hang on any wall. The frame measures 20.0" X 20.0".
