1931 Knute Rockne Tribute Picture Poster Booklet. A very neat piece of history which comes with the original envelope. Knute was 43 when he died in a plane crash in Kansas on March 31, 1931. He was en route to participate in the production of the film The Spirit of Notre Dame. Shortly after taking off from Kansas City, where he had stopped to visit his two sons,  one of the planes wings separated in flight. The plane crashed into a wheat field near Bazaar, Kansas, killing eight people, including Notre Dames Knute Rockne. The picture poster booklet is in excellent condition with the envelpoe having wear from handling over the years.
