The 1960 New York Titans (now the Jets)season was the inaugural season for the team in the upstart American Football League (AFL). The team began play in the Polo Grounds, the one-time home of the NFL's New York Giants. The Titans finished their first season at a respectable 7–7.This program is for their very first official game and was played on 9/11/60 at New York's Polo Grounds. This would also be the first game in Buffalo Bills history. The Jets would win 27-3. The program cover features the image of their 1st head coach- Sammy Baugh. There are loads of pictures and articles within. The score is written on the cover and the center page of the program, but is otherwise in excellent plus condition. Being that there were only about 10,000 people attending this game- the program is very rare.
