Along with their standard mascot cookie jars, Gibbs-Conner also made a series of slightly smaller jars using old time teams & hat styles. This jar is of the Boston Beaneaters and pre-1900 baseball team that later became the Boston Braves. The head is in the shape of a baseball and he wears an old time baseball cap. The team name is etched into the base. It stands  almost 10" tall. it has super bright coloring. There is a small production dent on the back-side that does not impact its appearance when displayed. There are only a handful of examples of these cookie jars and this is the only "Beaneaters" jar that we've ever seen.
