This terrific doll dates to the early 70's and was one of the last of baseball's Gold base series to be issued. It's of the Texas Rangers - a franchise that moved from Washington to Texas in 1972. The doll has bright coloring, strong decals and no chips or cracks. There is some very minor roughness under the back rim as well as a spot of excess lacquer when the doll was sprayed under the chin. It would still grade excellent plus/near mint.
