Here's another great-looking statue set that is part of a series issued by Danbury Mint showing famous baseball teams. This one is of the 1969 N.Y. Mets- a team that shocked the Baseball world by winning a World Championship. The statues stand on a wooden base with the team's name on a plaque. It's about 28" long and finely detailed. This team included Hall of Famer Tom Seaver and other famous Mets including Gil Hodges, Tommie Agee, and Cleon Jones. It's in mint condition - no box.
