This incredible figurine is part of a series of rare baseball statues made in Italy. We are offering 12 different figures in the auction which represents all the poses that were issued.  These statues came with either blue or red uniforms. They are made of paper-mache and some are stamped "Italy" on the bottom. This one is of a fielder making an error. It is in excellent condition with some paint loss on the back of the base. If you like baseball figurines- this is a must-have for any collection.
