A tribute to a baseball hero, Roy Campanella with this “Honor Night” ticket stub. Helping to offset Campanella’s medical bills the Los Angeles Dodgers held an honor/benefit exhibition night game against the New York Yankees on 5/7/59 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Offered is a ticket stub that has some creasing as well as some writing on the back. This emotional event which drew a then MLB record crowd of 93,103. Featured on the stub is an image of Campanella and the blurb “I was there the night they honored Campy”. It's in good condition.
