This doll is from the NFL's Gold base series of the mid-'60s. Please do not confuse this series with the Merger series of the late 60's- although they look similar the faces are totally different. This Steelers doll features their apron-style jersey. It has nice coloring but there is some discoloration on the base. The helmet decals do show wear. There are a few light hairlines on the rim that do not impact its appearance when displayed.
