The memorable 1925 World Series was played down to the wire as Pittsburgh came from behind to beat Walter Johnson and the Washington Senators in the seventh game at Forbes Field. Presented is a stunning 64-page, 8 x 10.5-inch program from the Washington Baseball Club that contains numerous black and white photos and advertisements, many of which feature the “Big Train” during his 1925 A.L. MVP season. In addition, each of the participants of the hometown Senators is prominently featured with full-length images and additional information. The front cover features both managers and has some pencil writing on the top border. There is also a crease on the upper right-hand corner. The pages are clean and in excellent plus condition.
