This may be the quintessential 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers piece. It's the 1955 cardboard advertising plaque issued by their sponsor Schaeffer Beer. These were given to local bars and taverns shortly after the Dodgers won their only championship in Brooklyn. The plaque pictures the entire team with layered die-cuts giving it a 3-dimensional look. The colors are bright & clean.  Because of its fragility, these plaques are rarely free of flaws. This one has the typical creasings and tears. Some of the tears can be repaired with careful attention. It still displays nicely and is "one heck of a piece".
