After the 1961 season in which Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth's single season home-run record, he gave each of his team mates a cigarette lighter with the Yankees logo and one side and the name of the player on the verso side. This lighter was given to Jim Coats. It was obtained from a long-time N.Y. Yankees collector. There is some surface wear. The lighter is not working, but appears only to need fluid to work. It's a great looking piece and these lighters are very hard to find.
