This doll is from the hard to find Black Face series of the early 60's. All the dolls in this series are considered rare. This Oriole is a beauty. It's uniform color is slightly off-white and the chest decal shows some wear. There are no chips or cracks, but there is some uneven paint on the right cheek (hardly noticeable). Minor roughness under the rim of the head.
