1961 N.Y. YANKEES LIGHTER- ROGER MARIS GIFT TO TEAM MATE

After the 1961 season in which Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth's single season home-run record, he gave each of his team mates a cigarette lighter with the Yankees logo and one side and the name of the player on the verso side. This lighter was given to pitcher Roland Sheldon. It was obtained from a long-time N.Y. Yankees collector. The lighter is not working, but appears only to need fluid to work. It's a great looking piece and these lighters are very hard to find.
