This terrific looking cast iron mechanical bank was part of a series issued by Book of Knowledge in the 50's & 60's. It is a reproduction of the turn of the century "Hometown Darkies" bank- but this bank was made more politically correct. This example has nice coloring and still works. There has been some felt strips applied to the bottom to avoid surface scratching- but these strips can be removed. It comes with a COA from the company. It's a beauty!
