This terrific looking doll comes from Baseball's Black face series of the early 60's. All the dolls in this series are considered rare. This one is of the Detroit Tigers and features the more serious head style variation. The uniform is a touch off-white and there is some wear to the base decal. There's an extremely faint hairline on the back of the head that can only be seen through magnification. This one is a beauty!
