Like the previous lot, this is a very special edition of Sports Illustrated. It is their 2nd ever issue dated 8/23/54. Besides their usual fantastic articles, this issue includes one about the New York Yankees. Included is a tri-fold pullout that pictures 1954 Topps cards of the New York Yankees that include Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto and Whitey Ford. There are a few scuffs on the cover, but overall it is in excellent condition. This is a harder issue to find than the #1 issue.
