ITPC WINTER 2012 SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION -253 LOTS
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2012
This circa 1950 Jackie Robinson doll was made by the Allied- Brand Doll Company to capitilize on his popularity. It has a composition head, arms and legs that move and are strung together. For the most part the composition is in very nice condition with almost no crazing on the head (some wear on lips) and some of the usual crazing on his hands. It measures about 13" tall. He wears his cloth uniform which is missing the number "2' on the back and does not have the felt lettering across the chest. The socks may be original. It is missing the shoes, hat and satin jacket. The doll still displays nicely and would be an upgrade to most we've handled.
