Love them or hate them, baseball fans are usually committed to one or the other when it comes to Yankees. This mid 60's game took advantage of the Yankees popularity and it has become one of the most sought after post-war baseball games in the hobby. The box cover is dynamic. It features a large color litho of the old Yankee Stadium. There are also three cameo lithos of three of their stars- Mickey Mantle, Elston Howard and Tom Tresh. Although the cover displays beautifully, please note that some of the aprons have been reglued. There is also some light staining on the left hand side. The game pieces are also awesome. It includes 50 player picture cards- 25 Yankees and 24 All-Star players. The Mantle & Maris cards are in excellent plus condition and are highly sought after by baseball card collectors.The bulk of the cards are in at least excellent condition, but a number of the Yankee cards have writing on them (Roland Sheldon and Mel Stottlemeyre cards are in poor condition). The All-Star cards are all at least excellent and include many Hall of Fame players.  The other accessories include action cards,  a scoreboard and a baseball field board that has the Yankees logo. The instructions are present and overall this game is in excellent condition. This is a must have for any fan of the Yankees and any board game collector. It's simply fantastic!
