This glass was part of a series of 28 player glasses that were issued following the Braves 1957 World Championship season. They were not sold to the general public but were given to players and team employees to honor their feat. 14 of the glasses came in a shorter wider mouthed tumbler glass and the remaining 14 a taller drinking glass. They are some of the most sought-after glassware in the hobby and very hard to find.

This Carl Sawataski glass is the taller drinking glass size. It has the image of Sawataski with his facsimile autograph. The verso side has the Braves mascot wearing a World Champions crown. There's a small nick along the rim, but it still displays beautifully..
