This hard to find doll is from the NFL Square Gold base series of the early 60's. This is of the now-defunct St. Louis Cardinals. It features the blackface head variation and is quite rare. This doll has nice bright colors and strong decals. There's a very light hairline on the side of the helmet and some minor roughness under the rim. It's still a beauty.
