Charles Thomas Wagner  was pitcher and coach in Major League Baseball who played his entire career for the Boston Red Sox (1938–42, 1946). Nicknamed "Broadway," he went on to a 50-year career as a farm system supervisor, scout and minor league instructor. His professional relationship with the Red Sox lasted a record 73 years.

This grouping was given to Charlie (and others) for service to the team (circa the 40's). His name is emblazoned on the two mugs. The set also includes a large-sized ceramic pitcher and the very hard to find ashtray. They are all in beautiful condition. These sets are not easy to find.
