We believe that this ultra rare paper-mache doll of Babe Ruth was most probably a carnival prize. It stands about 13.5" tall. The face is a nice caricature of Ruth and the chest has the engraved letters of his name. It has suffered some paint loss and crackling (this is a very common flaw of this piece). We are not sure that the bat is original although it appears to be. It's a great opportunity to own a classic piece of "Ruth-abilia".
