This terrific looking pennant (circa 1947) would have been sold during the World Series played between the N.Y. Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers. This is the Yankees issue and it declares them as A.L. Champions. The complimentry pennant of the Dodgers is also being sold in this auction.It measures about 26.5" long. it has bright coloring and a nice tip. it grades near mint. It's very rare.
